November status update and stuff
It's almost four a clock in the morning and I'm sitting in a Middle Eastern airport waiting for my flight back to Denmark. This marks the end of two hard weeks work abroad, with nothing but hotels, taxis and the working site. I've never seen so little of a country I travelled to and I don't think I've ever worked this much in two weeks before either. Hopefully we'll get to see more when we return next year. At last I'm very happy that despite all odds we managed to deliver yet another difficult project:-)
I'm also looking forward to getting my brand new Lenovo x61s (with 3G modem) waiting for me at home, can't wait to get Gentoo and KDE4 on it:-) While I've been away I've been using another Lenovo laptop with Kubuntu and I'm just not 100% happy with it. All the extra integrations and stuff is fine, some stuff just keep irritating me. Like KNetworkManager is a mess to use with different profiles. Sometimes it works others it don't. Somehow my Kmail also got so fed up with my IMAP accounts that I had to change to Thunderbird to be able to read any mail and the 2.6.24-21-42 kernel kept freezing until I managed to upgrade to -43:-/
